A wish for the Stars

White sage Nag Champa - Palo Santo - Selenite

“For thousands of years, people have looked toward the night sky with hope, wonder, and a wish in their hearts. This ritual is an invitation to do the same—to dedicate an evening to a dream, desire, or possibility that feels too important to keep hidden.”

The Ritual

There are wishes we speak casually.

And there are wishes we carry quietly.

The ones that return again and again.

The dream you cannot forget.

The place you hope to reach.

The experience you long to live.

Tonight is dedicated to that wish.

Not as a task.

But as something sacred enough to be honored.

1. Choose Your Wish

Take a piece of paper and write down a single wish.

Not what you think should happen.

Not what others expect.

Write what your heart genuinely desires.

Be bold.

Be honest.

Fold the paper and keep it close.

2. Prepare the Offering

Light the White Sage and Nag Champa bundle.

As the fragrant smoke rises, imagine creating a sacred space around you.

A place where possibility feels larger.

A place where dreams are welcomed.

A place where wishes are allowed to exist without limitation.

3. Call the Stars

Light the Palo Santo.

Step outside if possible, or sit near a window.

Look toward the sky.

Whether you see stars, clouds, moonlight, or darkness does not matter.

The ritual is not about what is above you.

It is about what awakens within you.

Hold your wish gently in your awareness.

4. Give It a Voice

Read your wish aloud.

Slowly.

With intention.

Then speak these words:

"I honor this wish. I welcome the opportunities, courage, and guidance required to bring it to life."

5. Make the Promise

Take the Selenite in your hands.

Ask yourself:

What is one thing I can do to move closer to this wish?

Not next month.

Not someday.

This week.

When the answer comes, commit to it.

6. Leave the Light On

Place the folded wish beneath the Selenite.

Leave it somewhere meaningful for the next 30 days.

A bedside table.

A desk.

An altar.

A place where you will see it often.

Allow it to serve as a reminder that wishes become reality through belief, attention, and action.

Closing Reflection

"Tonight I honor what calls to me. I trust that every great journey begins with a wish, and every wish begins with the courage to believe it is possible."
